Chloe's favorite song is 'Fly Away' by Tim McGraw. This morning, when I came out from the shower, she was sitting in the chair with her guitar singing Fly Away......it was just too cute!

I was able to get tickets to the Carrie Underwood Concert this evening. I had planned to get tickets for Shelby & I and put them in Shelby's Easter basket, but when I finally made the decision to do that back at the beginning of March, I found out the concert was sold out. I had been watching EBay for the past couple of weeks, but the tickets were going for more than I wanted to pay. TODAY, I just happened to go Ticketmaster.com and check and they had 2 tickets.....this was at about 4:45 p.m. and the concert started at 7:30 p.m. Nothing like getting them at the last minute. OH WELL.....it was definitely worth it. Shelby LOVED Carrie Underwood and I LOVED Josh Turner!!!! It was a fun evening out for Shelby & I!!!

Easter

We went to the Easter Egg Hunt that we go to each year on Saturday, March 22. They decided to hide the eggs in the basement of the church instead of outside since it was SNOWING!! They had 24 kids come and they had hid over 600 eggs! Needless to say, we came home with a lot of candy. Chloe & Christian both found 48 eggs.

Pictures with a Bunny

Last Friday (March 14), I took Chloe to "It's Playtime" to have her picture taken with a real bunny. I was a little nervous since when Grant was little, he was scared to death of the little bunnies. Chloe loved it though. She couldn't stop giggling the entire time. I received the pictures in the mail today and I thought they turned out really cute!!

Easter Bunny

I took Chloe & Skylar to the mall today to visit the Easter Bunny. Chloe went first and she really liked him. She talked and talked. In fact, I had a hard time getting her to look at the camera. Then it was Skylar's turn. She liked the way he looked, but when I sat her on his lap, she didn't like him as well. I ended up sitting her beside him and got a good picture. That was it though. I had planned to take a picture of both of them with the Easter Bunny, but Skylar had had enough!

"Girl's Pedicure Day"

Today, Chloe and I drove to Rochester to meet up with Lisa so we (Lisa & I) could get pedicures. We had a nice day of pampering and visiting. Chloe did a wonderful job of entertaining herself. Every so often, she would use the binoculars and look out of the playroom to check on us. I won't be traipsing through the Peruvian Jungle with my pretty toes like Lisa....but they'll sure look nice doing the laundry & washing the dishes!!

The Treehouse Getaway Weekend

What a fun weekend we had at "The Treehouse Getaway". How could you not have with a weekend filled with scrapbooking and someone else doing the cooking and the cleaning up!! I can't wait until the next weekend getaway!
